Why Your Film Wants An
OSCAR RUN

Although WEA cannot ensure that your non-student short film will be nominated by The Academy®, we can guarantee that if your short does not win a qualifying award from an OSCAR Short Film Qualifying Festival List competition or enjoys a seven day Standard Theatrical Run at an Academy® designated movie theater, then your film will not be nominated because it does not even qualify for OSCAR Consideration.

DCP Required to Screen

In order to screen in September of 2024 the film's Digital Cinema Package with English Subtitles must be supplied at the filmmaker's expense.

WEA will refer filmmaker to an affordable supplier, if needed.

WEA OSCAR RUN Submission Fees

• Under 15 minutes in length as low as $825.41

• Under 30 minutes in length as low as  $1,075.87

• Under 40 minutes in length as low as $1,366.20
