Then embarking 10:00 am, Thursday, June 19th on the USA National Holiday itself, prolific Hollywood actor PhilE (stage name) will lead the 4th annual Rancho Cucamonga Juneteenth WALK 2025, which heeds elder activist Opal Lee's call for everyone to walk 2 1/2 miles in remembrance of the 2 1/2 years it took for all US Slaves to be informed that they were freed from bondage. The WALK travels from the Cucamonga Station side entrance of the Solamonte Apartment Complex on the corner of 7th Street and Anaheim Place, Rancho Cucamonga, California 91730 USA to the Rancho Cucamonga Civic Center - City Hall Fountain. There, the City will be presented with a petition requesting that Rancho Cucamonga make Juneteenth an Official City Holiday! Already registered to join this year's WALK are: Angel Huerta, Jeremy & Monica Ann Kinney, Alyssa Nila, Nancy Schmidt, Cenise Wallace, Hope, Sandra M. and Greg Williams plus "Hapless Revenge" Co-Lead Actor Martin Hardlund.
