With Ron Duncan's The Hip-Hop Kid script having been written for sometime, its actual production was more than a year in the making.

Below are photos of the short film's Hollywood TCL Chinese 6 Theatre Local Preview as the 2nd screening of the African American Drama Company's 40th anniversary Phillip E. Walker Short Film Acting Retrospective Series, which is presented by the Indie Night Film Festival; from the Radio Theatre For Your Soul table read of the script; pre-production publicity photos of the principle cast plus a screen shot of that cast from the Movie's ending scene.
